PRIVACY

When you visit The Government Relations Association website, we may collect and store information about your visit on an anonymous, aggregate basis. This information may include the time and length of your visit, the pages you look at on our site, and the site you visited just before coming to ours. We may also record the name of your Internet service provider. We use this information only to measure site activity and to develop ideas for improving our site.

There are also several opportunities on our website for you to provide us with information about you and your interests, such as your name, mailing address and e-mail address. If you choose to share any personal information with us, we may store it and use it for marketing research and other marketing purposes, which may include sharing it with other companies and sponsors in The Government Relations Association family and our business partners. Members are automatically added to our member directory and profile information is visible to other members, however members reserve the right to remove their directory listing.

Some of our website may make use of "cookie" technology to measure site activity and to customize information to your personal tastes. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then store the cookie on your hard drive. So, when you come back to visit us again, we can tailor information to suit your individual preferences. The goal is to save you time and provide you with a more meaningful visit.

The Government Relations Association reserves the right to alter our privacy principles as business needs require. Any alterations to these principles will be posted on our web site in a timely manner.

 

REGISTRATION, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS

Should you ever need to make a change to an event registration, please e-mail your substitution or cancellation request to info@GRAssociation.org. While substitutions are free, a 10% processing fee will be charged for all event cancellations. Cancellations to GRA’s Know Your Government and Know Your Issues event series must be received in writing five (5) calendar days in advance of the event date. Cancellations to GRA’s Know Your Profession event series must be received in writing three (3) calendar days in advance of the event. Please note there will be NO refunds granted after those dates.

 

MERCHANDISE: SHIPPING, RETURNS AND REFUNDS 

GRA does not presently offer any branded merchandise or products for sale at this time. Should the association open an ongoing, online store in the future, shipping and return policies will be posted here to address procedures relative to shipping, handling, claims, and return period limits.

 

IMAGE RELEASE

Any person who attends the GRA Annual Conference or other official GRA event grants permission to GRA, its employees and agents (collectively “GRA”) to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written description, and without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of GRA, including advertisements for GRA and its programs.
