Individual Memberships

Thank you for your interest in joining the Government Relations Association (GRA), the leading global association dedicated to representing and championing the family of government relations professionals around the world, including professionals in federal and state lobbying, public policy, regulatory affairs, advocacy, campaigns, elections, and fundraising.

Your investment in your professional association supports critical programs that allow us the viability to be a go-to source to collectively increase access to government officials and issue experts, provide valuable networking opportunities among peers, informational events, educational and professional development opportunities, and exclusive access to resources and content to help you succeed in your career.

MEMBER BENEFITS

  • Networking: Through our numerous free events, like our signature Know Your Government, Know Your Issues, and Know Your Profession program series, we enable partnerships to learn together and improve your standing in your profession. Make connections, network, and mentor with other leaders in your community, share best practices, and learn from those who share your interests and concerns. GRA also routinely hosts members and prospective members for social events at our office located at 1717 K Street NW in Washington, DC.

  • Community Advocacy: Members have opportunities to shape our business objectives and direction by serving on our board of directors or committees. You will enjoy exclusive access to our Membership Directory, providing members with information and resource exchange among peers. We combat negative media attention by educating the public and others on why the government relations profession is an essential function of our republic and democracy. You can also find your next career move through GRA’s job board and learn more about your profession and salary insights from our proprietary annual State of the Profession survey.

  • Access to Policymakers and Issue Experts: We help enhance your ability to educate government officials and their staff about salient issues of the day that are important to those you represent. We work with Congress, the Executive Branch, state and local governments, and issue experts to help you articulate reasonable and balanced policies that benefit their constituencies while impacting the stakeholders you advocate for. GRA offers a broad range of in-person and online events for its members. While GRA events are designed to help the association accomplish its mission to champion and advocate on behalf of the profession and better educate its members, its primary purpose is to connect you, contribute to your professional development, and expedite your success.

  • Affinity Discounts: Members will receive generous discounts on a variety of products and services, as well as educational and professional development credentials.
