House Foreign Affairs (subcommittees on Asia & the Pacific, and the Middle East & North Africa)
House Small Business, as its Chairman.
House Judiciary (subcommittees on Courts & Intellectual Property; Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security)
Cong. Chabot graduated from William & Mary in 1975 with a BA in History, and later received his JD from Northern Kentucky University in 1978. Upon graduation he worked as a lawyer in his community before becoming a Cincinnati City Councilman (1985-1990). In 1994 he ran for the US House of Representatives for Ohio's 1st District.
