On Thursday April 26th we are privileged to be hosting for breakfast Congressman Bruce Poliquin (R-ME), a Member of Congress representing one of the largest districts in the US. He attended Phillips Academy in Andover MA, and then later received a scholarship to Harvard, graduating in 1976.
Cong. Poliquin is a 3rd-generation Mainer who worked diligently as State Treasurer to secure retirement benefits for state teachers and to address the ongoing Maine state fiscal crisis.
Cong. Poliquin is a member of the House Financial Services Committee (subcommittees on Capital Markets, Securities and Investment) and the Veterans’ Affairs Committee – two key committees that will be debating many frontline issues of interest to the nation’s financial institutions and to our Veterans and VA Hospitals. Come hear from him what he expects Congress to be focusing on in the year ahead.
