The Government Relations Association (GRA), the fastest growing association representing the lobbying, GR, fundraising, grassroots practitioner and public policy advocacy community, is privileged to announce the 104th "Meet the Member" event in our popular series. Please join us when we host Cong. Darin LaHood (IL-16) on Tuesday April 16th at 12:00 noon for a lively luncheon discussion.

Cong. LaHood earned his BA from Loras College and his JD from the Univ. of Illinois-Chicago.  Prior to Congress he served 4 years in the IL State Senate, and 9 years as a State & Federal prosecutor. From 2015-2023, Cong. LaHood represented the 18th Congressional district, and following a state-wide redistricting he ran for and won election to the 16th district where he now serves. In 2022, he was elected to the US Congress and sworn in on January 2023.

He currently serves on the key committees of:
House Ways & Means
House Permanent Select Comm. on Intelligence
House Select Comm. on Competition with China
