Overview: Cong. Boyle is a native Pennsylvanian and the son of a strong Irish-American heritage. The first to attend college in his family, Cong. Boyle attended Notre Dame on an academic scholarship, earning his BA in Government in 1999, and then going on to Harvard University where he earned his Master's in Public Policy. Since then he has also served as an adjunct professor in public policy at Drexel University's graduate school.
Cong. Boyle's rise to Congress began when he was elected to the PA House of Representatives in 2008 serving through 2014 when he announced his run for the Pennsylvania's 13th Congressional district seat, which he has represented since January 2014. He soon joined both the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Budget Committee. On House Foreign Affairs he serves on the Middle East and North Africa subcommittee, as well as the Terrorism, Nonproliferation & Trade subcommittee.
