The Government Relations Association (GRA) -- the fastest growing professional association representing the lobbying, government relations, fundraising, grassroots practitioner, and public policy community -- is pleased to announce the latest (#94!) in our popular series, "Meet the Member" -- this one with Cong. Brad Finstad (R-MN). Please join your GRA colleagues as we welcome Cong. Finstad on December 12th at 12 pm.  

Cong. Finstad is a fourth-generation resident of and farmer from New Ulm, Minnesota. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Agriculture Education, Cong. Finstad now runs an agriculture business with his wife and helps their family run their generational family farm. These experiences helped prepare him for three terms in the Minnesota State Legislature before he was appointed State Director of USDA Rural Development in Minnesota in 2017. In August 2022, Cong. Finstad won the special election for Minnesota's 1st district and was sworn into office three days later. He now serves on the following Committees: 

House Committee on Agriculture
House Committee on Armed Services
