The Government Relations Association (GRA), the fastest growing association representing the lobbying, government relations, fundraising, grassroots practitioner and public policy advocacy community of professions, is privileged to announce the latest in our popular series (#62) called "Meet the Member".  On Tuesday April 26th at 12 pm, please join your GRA colleagues when we host Congressman Buddy Carter (GA-01) for an exciting luncheon discussion!

Congressman Carter earned his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 1980, and ran Carter's pharmacy for 32 years. For a period of that time (1989-1993) he served on the local planning and zoning commission in his community. He ran for and won a seat in the state legislature from 1996-2005, serving two terms. Then in 2014 he ran for an open seat and won his election to the US Congress. He currently serves on the House Energy & Commerce, and House Budget Committees.
