The Government Relations Association (GRA), the fastest growing association representing the community of lobbying, government relations, fundraising, grassroots practitioner and public policy advocacy professions, is privileged to announce the latest in our popular series "Working with Your Congressional Delegation" in which we bring together the Chiefs of Staff and LDs for a single state. Please join your GRA colleagues on Friday March 25th at 10:00am when we host the Chiefs and LDs for the great state of California!
In 2021 we heard from the staff of Texas and Pennsylvania. Now it's California's turn!
This series focuses on how members and staff representing a single state work together to promote and advocate for the programs and policies of greatest mutual importance -- and how you can work to ensure they are aware of your issues in a timely and effective way. Each event brings together the Chiefs and LDs who are willing to share their insight on:
o. How the Congressional staff identify issues they will prioritize for their state,
o. How the GR & lobbying community can weigh in on impacts of legislation to constituents and employees,
o. What works best to get their attention and persuade them that your issues should be theirs too,
o. What not to do -- they've seen it all so let's learn from them what their advice is on the "do's and don'ts",
o. When to share your issues with them, and the best ways to follow through,
o. How you can be the most effective GR and lobbying professional to gain their trust and support.
